: very close to St Peter's and the Vatican Museum. Rome was part of a multi-wk, multi- country solo trip. I literally just got back last night (Oct 12, 2022). Rome is massive and has a LOT to offer. Being a photography buff who gets easily lost, I decided to split my 5 day Roman Holiday between 2 different facilities. I spent 3 nights at this B&B. I had never before stayed in a B&B in Europe so it was all a learning experience as this was my first. The owner is very helpful BUT unfortunately, my taxi from the train station arrived 8 minutes after she had already left (closed between 11am-1pm) so I hung out at a cafe a couple blocks away til she got back. She had to leave for a doctor's appt so that is why she couldn't stay. There are multiple rooms but you will get keys to let you into the b&b itself and one for your room. Everyone was very considerate.Breakfast is simple as European breakfasts tend to be so don't expect scrambled eggs and bacon. A jar of cookies and a selection of teas are available should you want a little snack at night. (NO microwave; it's a gas stove if you need to heat up water.)I spent the 3 days exploring St Peter's including a Duomo climb, Vatican museum tour ( a MUST if you want to see the Sistine Chapel) and doing street photography. After the 3 nights, I moved across the Tiber to a hotel. I must say that. missed the personal touch that you get at a b&b even though you may not see the owner(s) that often.
: This b&b itself is located upstairs in a building surrounded by people who live and work there. At first, I was very nervous about walking about by myself but it's actually very safe!
