: Nice little area near Vatican, flat is very quiet. Coffee espresso machine didn't work but fortunately there was an old fashioned espresso pot, worked great. Brought back old memories.
: Door lock was difficult, but once we were shown the trick, it was fine.

: The location was fantastic. Restaurants & sights like the Vatican is very close. The apartment was rustic and lovely decor. We also appreciated we could bring our small dog without any problems. And while there were issues, the staff always acted in a friendly manner.
: There were quite a few things that were unfortunate about our stay. Some that could have been avoided, some we were probably just unlucky with. Firstly, the biggest issue was that the next guests who were supposed to check-in later in the day, actually had a set of keys already at 9.30 (check-out was at 11) and walked into our apartment. I appreciate that the owners assistant apologized, but this is a coordinating issue that shouldnt happen. Secondly, there wasnt actually a functioning luggage storage. We were advised to leave our suitcases in a specific room by the entrance, but when we had a look at it, we got yelled at by a tenant that were not allowed to use it, and there are also signs which say you cannot leave suitcases there. We talked with the owners assistant who made other arrangements to leave our suitcases in the apartment instead (which was appreciated, but could have been avoided by simple not promising luggage storage in the first place). Of course, after the morning of having strangers walk into the apartment we didnt feel comfortable leaving our suitcases in the there. These were things that could have easily been avoided, and hopefully these will be fixed for future guests. Finally, there were some minor things, for example the house is old, so the walls are thin and it gets very noisy at night. There were small bugs running around the living room. One of the bathrooms doesnt have a door (there is a thin curtain) and the showers didnt drain properly.
