  : I thought this place would be 'okay', as I only had to bridge a few hours between my last day in Rome and going to the airport at 4 in the morning – it was not! The place was not easy to find, as there was a different name on the door in the building. The actual apartment was smelly, it was warm and very noisy. Had to keep the window open, as the ceiling fan alone was not enough to get the room to a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was old, mouldy and not clean, there wasn't even toilet paper. The door wouldn't even lock all the time. Speaking of locks – there was NO lock on the room door, so not a very private or safe space to stay or keep your luggage. And, not specified in the description, the rooms are mixed. On arrival there was only a dirty looking blanket on the bed (as they were 'short on laundry', there was no sheet available to sleep under, despite the heat), sheets and pillows had smudges, stains and a lot of hairs on them. After an hour, close to midnight, reception guy walks in, flicks on the light in the room and hands out sheets. Also, bringing with him two other guests, despite the checking-in time cut off that was supposed to be 10PM, and as he leaves just leaves the room door wide open. One final point – I left the place feeling itchy and uncomfortable, and as it turns out – I am covered in red bumps and bites. This place definitely has bed bugs!

  : the neighborhood around the hotel does not feel safe especially at nights. It is unclear who is capable of entering the rooms. There is no lock in the cabinets, I could not trust and leave my belongings. the bunk beds were shaking a lot,
